It has happened again. The Disney Parks digital media team has proven how awesome they are at social media marketing. They’ve honed their Guest Service, and Disney “Magic” into an engagement maximizing social strategy using Snapchat.
The Disneyland and DisneyWorld Snapchat accounts are occasionally taken over by the artistic finger of Snapchat star Shaun McBride (aka Shonduras). Below is an example of how DisneyWorld recently used Snapchat to engage with their followers through a fun trivia game.
The game lasted more than an hour, and their engagement was through the roof. After each question, followers would respond with a drawing, reenactment snap, or a Disney merchandise product, and the DisneyWorld account would reSnap select responses. Some were correct and others were not. Those that were incorrect were snapped a clip of a hand hitting a buzzer button.
